Coaches should liaise with educators to identify and share a range of learning materials that are appropriate and relevant, and reflect the modern and multi-cultural society we live in.

ISTE explains that the coach should ‘partner with educators to identify a broad range of learning materials, such as digital media and podcasts; digital curriculum, news and websites; digitised original or historical resources; and virtual field trips or virtual reality, that reflects the multi-cultural nature of society. The learning materials should be developmentally appropriate and aligned to content standards.’
Coaches can engage staff with Microsoft Teams and OneNote for sharing of subject relevant and departmental resources. The home page is a great place to add links and the general posts allow for input from all. The home page can share links to resources such as Pixton and Wakelet. Wakelet is useful tool where resources can all be held in one simple to access area. Wakelet could be recommend for staff to use with pupils or staff could collaborate on a Wakelet. Pixton is a free comic book and avatar maker site with a diverse range of characters.
It is important to think about all learners and their needs when sharing the resources, and to remember that links do not need to just be to website and online articles. You can create learning menus where pupils have choice in how and what content they want delivered, and in how they demonstrate their knowledge.
